INA Academy offers support services and training to telecommunications regulatory institutions in Southeastern European region. It supports a constant effort for capacity building and transfer of good practices for the benefit of government regulators, telecom operators and citizens of the information society. INA Academy strives to promote high quality, effective services, while forming a catalyst that consistently promotes interregional collaboration in SEE, as well as convergence to the EU telecommunications standards.
INA Academy’s primary objective is to provide:
• Development Assistance:
Technical and consulting assistance in the developing ICT sector to governments and Regulatory Authorities in conjunction with other international and regional actors, placing emphasis on human capacity building.
• A Catalyst for the ICT market in SE European countries:
Sharing of experiences and perspectives among policy makers and regulators from SE Europe on issues related to the regulation and development of the regional ICT market
• Training Services:
A model regional training centre, offering high quality training mainly on regulatory, technical and business aspects of Information and Communications Technologies
• Information Services:
A node for the dissemination of information in the regional telecommunications market, supporting the exchange of good practices and the creation of cooperation opportunities among market stakeholders
• European Union Convergence Support:
Support to SE European countries in their convergence process in order to comply with the European Union standards and policies on ICT.
